The Ellis Lake Foundation was founded with a heartfelt mission—to support parents caring for their children in the hospital by providing essential hygiene packs. We understand the challenges families face during extended hospital stays, where even basic necessities can become an afterthought in the midst of medical care.
Our charity was established following our own experience at Manchester Children’s Hospital, where we spent significant time during treatment for Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD), including gene therapy. Through this journey, we saw firsthand how small comforts can make a big difference for families staying by their child’s bedside.
At the Ellis Lake Foundation, we believe no parent should have to worry about basic hygiene while focusing on their child’s health. Our hygiene packs offer essential items to provide some relief during difficult times, ensuring parents can care for themselves while caring for their little ones.
